Thunder and Lightning

Ever wonder of unknown connections? That is the exact mystery of thunder and lightning.

Something must click together

When the gears are kickin’ in (for once and always)…

Like a person needs water

Or a bird needs to fly

Lightning needs thunder-

And thunder needs lightning

‘Cause…they strike together

 

Just like we need our education

Or a crazy revolution (Every now and again)

We need to click

With our groups, our teams, our families

Lightning needs thunder-

And thunder needs lightning

‘Cause…there subsequent to one another

 

Like a story told

Without the words or pictures (Never is a team together)

Since it’s a necessity in life

In the environment surrounding

Lightning needs thunder-

And thunder needs lightning

‘Cause…not together they are a mystery

 

Just like the lightning strikes

The river needs to flow (Just as the moon glows)

And the music has to play

Like we need words to write

Lightning needs thunder-

And thunder needs lightning

‘Cause…they are meant to be like soul-mates

 

Lightning has thunder-

And thunder has lightning

‘Cause…the two just keep on clicking;

Together or not,

They feel connected as one…

Unlike, the world and us!

I like this, I've never read such a poem. Imaginative and realistic combined together. I think I would use nature as a theme..hmm
