Midnight Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep

Angels still my dreams to keep

While fairies in the meadows stay

dancing the moon into the day

the Lord and the Lady in chambers high

dare not blink a million years roll by

As we slumber blessings pray

to return again to life come day

The sweetest song heard from high

Angels wings fluttering by

in the stillness of the night does lie

the strength to relight the sky
