The Terror of SilenceA Poem by Quinn WI sit on the top of a green hill, shrouded in the sunlight. A place of peace and tranquility, for those of the soundest minds. But my mind is anything but. Chaos envelops me, sending shivers down my spine in the warm Spring air. The flowers around me bend in the breeze as the weeds in my brain weave around and around. Suffocating me. The weeds grow and grow, wrapping around my brain and breeding. My thoughts envelop me, sending me deeper and deeper into the pit of anxieties and worries, nightmares and horrors. As I sit in the terror of Silence.
