DeathA Poem by Quinn WMy view on death...
A woman stands before me
with waves of cascading curls, the color of mahogany. Her rose ivory skin and plump figure draw me in. Her earthly breasts swell as if abundant with nutriciuos milk ready to feed on the youth that here do dwell. Her hands reach out to me in an effort to take me in but I am not done seeing what I see. A forest surges behind Her with beautiful trees of green. This earthy heaven, I prefer. Foxes, turtles, raccoons, and more run to her, pawing at her legs. She smiles at them with a look of adore. She points to them and then to me and they seem to understand. They turn around and smile, gleefully. Towards me they walk, slowly, as if they sense I'm wary. Hoping not to scare me. A rabbit hops further and stops at my feet, looking from me to his Mother and She nods. She extends her hands again and all the birds tweet. The rabbit stands next to me and guides me toward Her, to be with for eternity.
