Clinical DepressionA Poem by Q.MThis poem I wrote on my experiences with clinical depression, please do not read this poem if you feel as if it could trigger you. Remember, you are loved and appreciated and I'm proud of you. <3Wallowing in the dark Waiting for a savior Someone, anyone! Anyone to save me I cannot carry on It is far to dark The voices hold me back Stop me from escaping I can never escape them They grab and pull And won’t let me go I want to be free I need to be free The voices flood my head Flood my thoughts They flood it with a condescending voice “You will never be worth anything” “You will never be good enough” “You are never going to make it” I want it to stop I need silence They keep me up at night And infiltrate my dreams I cannot be freed For their grip is too strong I want silence I want silence I want to be happy © 2022 Q.MFeatured Review
