Somewhere in my Bliss!A Poem by quiet_nomadFinding something amazing and losing it, then coming out the other end and being able to smile.Somewhere in my Bliss!
The alcohol eases my spirit, My mood eased, stress lifted, I find my calm, three pints down, In surroundings, familiar yet strange! I'm the drinker in the corner, The loner, that stranger unobserved, You're the memory, of something, Hate, love, curse, maybe bliss! Somewhere deep, within memory called, The idiot savant, warmed, in love, Memories of bodies, lips, and hands, You fill me up, and create a void! I see a picture, eclectic, and blissful, Yet I sit here alone, regretting, the plan, I view you angelic, yet hateful, And still I love you! As you are perfect! The smile I find, somewhere in my bliss, A nightmares shadow, midst memories , The shadow swallows, a smile delightful, As you kill, never giving, becoming single! I found that moment, of true love, Of bliss somewhere, deep within my soul, Shunned, and irrelevant, true colours I see, You were so much more, than I thought we! © 2015 quiet_nomad |
