Sand and the Sea

 

Sand and the sea

sand and the sea,

I look to the horizon

where the sea and sky meet.

Mended together

yet divided like a pleat,

no visible stars

but the clouds are unique.

What a humid night,

the waves are very settle,

the warm atmosphere

wraps around me like a bezel.

The twinkle of the lights

in the distance

give me visions,

visions so great

like the road to escape.

Visions of a hide away

just to take a break.

I feel calm

like the sea after the storm.

I am together

like the verses of a poem.

The waves tell the story

of a once hidden glory,

like my destiny is hidden

in the depths waiting for me.

What will I discover?

Who will I be?

So I wait patiently

for the hidden secrecy.

The waves

wave by,

The clouds open up

for the sun to say “ Hi.”

This is a way of expressing ways to say my,

thoughts and feelings

revealing my freedom inside.

I’m not concealing

the feeling

of feeling my life.

I’m more than willing

I’m driven

I’m giving what’s right.

Yes in spite.

So, I’m by the sea,

look to the horizon,

the waves from the depths

push ashore what’s inside them.

This is a metaphor,

a metaphor of me.

The opening of the clouds

is the opportunity.

The waves from the depths

that push things ashore,

reveal the liberation in the journey that I’m facing.

So, I will continue to look to the horizon,

by the sand and the sea

where I wait peacefully!
