My Love (Part One)

My love is not as most people would assume. My love is a beast from myth, a monster that holds the fear of thousands. My friends ask, “Why can't I meet your boyfriend?” Well, because my love is not a boy, for one. For two, my love, you would drive them mad.

My love of gargantuan proportions, with flesh black and iridescent like oil with splotches of gold to break up the dullness of your flesh. Eyes that glow even in daylight, bright yellow like the sun. You have no hair, for what would a demon of deep, cold waters need hair for?

My love, my darling without a heart, only a pit of shadows in your chest. Oh, my love, if you have no heart, how can you love me so? Oh, but you do. I know you do. You hold me in your freezing arms when you can visit me at night, whispering to me in your guttural tone just how much I mean to you. My love, with your inky fangs and your chameleon's tongue, please don't stop loving me.

My love, my eldritch love, wrap me up in your tentacle limbs and tell me you love me over and over. Gaze upon me with your eyeless omniscience, remember me when I fade away, for I will never live up to your immortality. My love, my crawling chaos, I hope you will never forget me when I die.

My Love (Part Two)

My love is not someone I would ever think I would meet. I am a God, an immortal being, what interest should I take in a mere mortal? But my love, you have captured my sights. You have made the hole in my chest where a heart should be throb in affection.

Oh, my love, with your petite size and your love for all things space. Your dark, copper-toned complexion always looking flushed, your dark brown eyes gazing adoringly up at me. How could someone so wonderful become enamored with something like myself? I am a monster, a beast to drive humankind mad, and yet you are unaffected.

I hold you close on the nights I can visit you, whispering to you how much you mean to me. You mean so much to me, I don't know what I would do without you. You bring about feelings I've never had before. Love. Fear.

Fear that I will lose you, and I know I will, someday. I will continue to exist in my dimensional void after you eventually pass. I am afraid, for in the life of an everliving being, a human lifespan is not long. I fear the day I'll lose you. Oh, my love, my poor, mortal love, I will never forget you. How could I, when you have changed me so. When the day comes that you die, I will never forget you, my love.
