Paint The Life In Your EyesA Poem by sutoraikaNothing can capture it.I wish to paint a picture of him, paint the life in his eyes. The mischief in them, the misery it contains. Dark black behind those glasses, I see wisdom regardless of his youth. His eyes smile as he grins. But there's also pain. Much pain. I cannot erase it, but I hope to paint it. How to combine happiness and sorrow in a stroke of colored oil and bristles of a paintbrush? How to blend the right tones and transfer his life onto the canvas? I swim in his dark black pools as I stare into the wisdom in those eyes. © 2008 sutoraikaAuthor's Note
