My Love For You

My Love For You

A Poem by queensonvia

My love for you...
Oh yes, that love I feel growing every day

That love that seeps into
every smile and laugh,
every gesture and thought

Oh yes, that love...which I can barely come to describe...
But that does not mean I cannot try.

My love for you is more than that of
the ocean waves and the sandy shore.
That deep blue continuously coming forth
 to kiss its elemental opposite

My love for you is more than that of
loud thunder and piercing lightning.
Even in the harshest of tempests
they remain side by side,
one never without the other

My love for you is more than that of
white winter and its beautiful silence.
Together they are the epitome of
peace, serenity, tranquility, and sanctuary

My love for you is more than that of
numerous birds and gracious morning.
Their cheerful harmonies greeting the rising sun

My love for you is more than that of
endless ivy and towering trees.
Clasping to branches with loving tendrils wrapping
around every inch of bark in a sweet embrace

All of these things are measures of my love.

Yet in all honesty,

No word or description of nature,
no matter how wonderfully majestic,
could ever do justice to the way
my heart beats for you.

Howdy ya'll :) I'm Sonova and I am quite an interesting person to say the least. I honestly don't write that much because I'm mainly an artist. I pretty much only write when I really feel it. more..
