The Golden Swan

The Golden Swan

A Poem by queensonvia

The golden swan,
How she glistens in the light,
Her beauty above those all around her
The golden swan,
How she lifts her head up high,
Not to listen to those all around her
The golden swan,
How she weeps in silence,
Concealing her tears from those all around her
The golden swan,
How she spreads her wings,
Flying away to escape those all around her
The golden swan,
How she drops from the clouds,
Seen in the skies by those all around her
Falling and falling,
Falling and falling,
Falling and falling,
She just keeps on falling
The golden swan,
How her color has faded,
Broken and ugly to those all around her
The golden swan,
How her blood fills the waters,
Horrific and frightening to those all around her
The golden swan,
Golden no longer,
Dark and dead,
She rests her head,
Her heart so torn,
From the love that was born,
She seems so alive,
But no matter how hard she tries,
Nothing can ever save her from those all around her

Howdy ya'll :) I'm Sonova and I am quite an interesting person to say the least. I honestly don't write that much because I'm mainly an artist. I pretty much only write when I really feel it. more..
