See Me In The Woods

See Me In The Woods

A Poem by queenbattyliv

See Me In The Woods
Across the meadow and into the woods,
Past rocks and trees and streams,
No more slippers, or wolves, or red cloaks with hoods,
To a place where no one will hear your screams.

I am the eye, watching you run,
There is no escaping me,
Put behind you the spring and the sun,
Go into the woods where no one will see.

BOO!
