A Street Boy

A Street Boy

A Poem by rani
"

A story of those millions who suffer ....but should not have been !

"
The street boy aimlessly stared....
The bread was thrown away...
The last loaf ;
That some needed it, nobody cared.
Shattered he was, but kept up hope .
The shop closed, the owner headed for home,
The chap rushed to the bin --
Thoughts filled him...fearful , troublesome.
Poor beggar he is, that's his only sin.
Dark pale cheeks being dressed with drops of tear,
He rose up...with a silent promise his inner self had made ;
And went to the dirty slum somewhere near
Uttering ' My sister is yet to be fed ....'

About
Someone who loves to sit by the garden ;amazed by the continual patter of raindrops....someone who is yet to learn the world......who is yet to realize a lot....whatever I see , comes down to my pen.... more..
