The Lover's Pain

The Lover's Pain

A Poem by rani
"

Something when you feel like you are empty, you are too tired to begin....

"
If I were a drunkard !
I would fill my belly to the brim,
And fall down, hallucinated.
Pains would not touch me,
Bustle would hesitate to wrap me up.
People would hate me a lot....quite more.
If I were a dove !
White wings I would flutter
And let me be free in the vast sky.
Most of you wouldn't notice me,
But dear sun would.
Loneliness is more painful than burns.
False smile hurts more than bullets.
If I were you !
I would simply go ahead, mingle and ask--
'I am not lonely, are you ? '
