Flight To Heaven

My wings are slowly fading

My flight is delayed for one more day

I doubt if I can arrive on time

If only tomorrow would come sooner

Then I wouldn’t be filled with much anxiety

 

My eyes are slowly blinded

Heaven’s gate is closing before me

Do I have to go before it’s time?

Or let destiny take its toll on me?

Ground departure or aerial levitation?

 

My wings are still broken

Falling feathers, forsaken tears

What is left when all my hope is gone?

It’s starting to rain and I can’t fly

The sky has become lonesome

And I’m drowning…

 

I’m starting to walk astray

The deities are weeping for me

I’m helpless and I pity myself

A doubt help would come anytime soon

My misery will go on ‘til forever

 

I’m starting to bleed, torn wings

I’m weak, I don’t have the strength to move on

Tears mixed with the rain, everyone’s gone

No one hears e as I shout for mercy

Redemption or damnation? Heaven or hell?

 

I am fallen apart

One closed eye, two torn wings

An isolated path

 

Finally, my Savior has arrived

Rising soul, mandate of heaven

My penitent has now gone away

The dawn is coming, perpetual light

My wings appeared once again

And I’m going…

 

My flight to heaven has began…
