Speaking in Silence

Speaking in Silence

A Poem by Sincere

Speaking in Silence

We lie naked staring at each other.

Silently speaking thoughts unspoken.

Time and time again hearts have been broken.

Yours, mine, theirs.

Are the wounds to deep to heal?

Is forever even real?

For security we kiss.

For desire we touch.

The shadows we create in this candle lit room are loud.

They speak of erotic passion,of lustful bliss.

Like the swells of the Ocean our bodies make waves.

Yet the room is still.

The silence is loud

it says so much.

Silently speaking thoughts unspoken.

My eyes... your eyes... they say," love has not left."

Yet our hearts are not present.

Confusion, Anger, Pain.

LOVE

Love for you

Love for me..

Love for them.

Is it enough?

We lie naked staring at each other.

Silently speaking thoughts unspoken.

This is a very well written piece. I really like the idea of the silence being loud.....beautiful and well done.
