Scream Dreams

Scream Dreams

A Poem by Qavah Simchah

I lie here lying to the moon
About the things I plan to do,
This night is ending way too soon
And I won't find sweet dreams
In a world without you

So wait here, lying to the moon
And pretend I'm good enough for you,
But my lullabies are alibis
And I'm not any better
In a world without you

This soft and silky tune
Is heavy metal by high noon;
Nothing sweet, nothing new,
Just a scream to reach you

Shattered and weeping
My dream demons
Can't keep for you,
They weep for you,
"Find me, come soon!"
I'm nothing without you!"

 Your sweet dreams
 Make mine come true.
