Post-Modern Proverbs

A Poem by Qavah Simchah

You don't need anyone
You can do it yourself

Mask your imperfections
Burn away your hell

Don't let them forget
Who you want them to see

You're good enough for you
With no identity

Distractions are important
You must know how to choose

Pain is guaranteed,
But you will never lose

You enjoy being alone
You know that love is a lie

Keep getting some religion
And you'll never die
