The Search for Identity

The Search for Identity

A Poem by Qavah Simchah

Why do we all play the same games?
Why do we lie, and mock, and blame?
Are we wild? Are we tame?
Are we evolution's bane?

Who can know our deepest scars?
Who can tell us if we are
Fragile lives
Human beings
Finite souls
Beautifully
Woven, broken, built, cast free
To glisten on an endless sea?
