Stone

Stone

A Poem by Qavah Simchah

When does a stone break?
When does its hardness change?
Before it becomes soft as sand
How many times was it
Beaten by waves?

How much heat pressed aganst the cold
Until sharp cracks formed on the mold?
How much biting wind harshly blew
To slice out the gaps that we look through?

And how long did the stone need to melt
Until its walled-out pain was felt?

Don't worry about that and you're most welcome...
Like many of your writings, nature is a reflection of ourselves causing us to review our own melting and breaking points.
