What I’d miss about us…

Quoting old films and cartoons together,
Singing “I’m Too Sexy,”
Watching you dance in the kitchen,
Reading something while you sleep,
Hearing you say my name,
The way you’re happy to look at me,
Sharing current events and
Meaningless facts,
Discussing history and politics,
Listening to your voice,
Your laugh,
Seeing that glitter in your eye,
When you want to talk about sex,
When you say I’m looking this or that,
When you tell me your dreams,
When you say nothing at all,
Times we agree with each other,
Times we disagree with each other,
Us being creative,
Us being playful,
Us being stubborn,
Us being us…
I’d miss us.
