He doesn't know

He's the imperfectly perfect role model

But he doesn't seem to notice

How all the people around him 

Are watching him silently

Wishing they could be

Just like him

He doesn't seem to know

That there are sparks in his eyes

And that he lights up all places 

With the fire that burns on the inside

No, He doesn't seem to see

The man that he is

Standing strong

While holding my hand in his
