A Poem by Chole Voce

I like to think of
myself as a sketch,
but i know i am more
like a mirage.
Instead of bold, dark strokes,
i am shivering, shifting lines
of violet and cerulean.
Knowing what I am,
I wish to change;
To rewrite my gestures, recast my thoughts.
I yearn for my beauty
To be in the intensity, not
The tenderness.
The Spartan, not the opulent.
The eternal, no the ephemeral.
Drawing my name form the mud, I escape
Back into the flood

wow great flow I read three of your pieces you have a beautiful blue style and force behind your words softness mixed with that force, searching though knowing, lost and admitting once found.
I identify a lot with your words. I look forward to reading more. Very appealing. thanks for sharing them
