Me

Me

A Poem by Pycpoet

Me

Walking fact and fiction
Frayed cover of a 6 months old paperback
Smelling of yesterday's lunch
A little bit of a diet Coke addiction

I am the one in the park
Under the shade of a tree
Its a hot sunny day
Come on over and have a chat with me

I am the one also on the beach
Looking towards my plan
20 feet from the water
20 feet too close to the land

I am nothing to me
Even more to my friends
Yes, I have changed the world
Dont forget to place my ashes in the sea

A touch of my tongue, troubles you to breathe
And it spells a word of passion
My desires are simple
Naked skin burns under me

I collect the things of yesterday
Always reading the things for tomorrow
Can't pin me down to a damn thing
Never thought a need to pray

I believe in you, long before you believe in me
I am a son to my father
I am a father to my son's
A sister and a brother, always have respected my mother

Its all about

Me
