Spider

Spider

A Poem by Phoenix Wolf-ray
"

short spider poem

"

Swinging in the morning light

Spider's-web, bejewelled by night

Spider-Mother, newly wakened

wrapping prey she's freshly taken

As you blink your morning eyes

and you think your morning lies

Spider sucks her juicely prey

webly spinning out her day
