On My Way

On My Way

A Story by jasfjsdajfasd

On My Way

Some days the trees are red, and some days they are blue. The sky is always black however. We go so fast down the road. The insides of my eyelids look better than what is in front of me. Empty eyes stare at the road in front of them and silently cry. They all grasp the circles of death that keep us alive. The circle never ends. They feel themselves going around and around every day. They tell themselves they can get out but they never do. If I’m burning then the whole world looks like its fire, but if I’m cold the world looks frozen.  My blank pallet has color splashed on it but much more often black and white dots are put on the back. I’m just a leaf on a tree and I can do nothing to stop the wind from swaying me. There are so many other leaves but maybe if I tell myself I’m unique then one day I can go somewhere. If I can just break off from the tree I can be free. I feel a bump and the sunlight splashes into my eyes. I can think later, it’s time for school.
