Wouldn't he

Wouldn't he

A Poem by paul sal.....

Every now and then I cross paths
with people who advocate adherence to
God's laws as the means to salvation.
The idea is that God wants us to follow
his doctrines for, if we don't,
                                              we'll all be damned.
My reaction to these people is as follows:
If god is up there watching us; would't he
be more pleased if humanity simply started
to love each other because it seemed the
                                              sensible thing to do?
                                                  Think about it

I agree with you. It doesn't mean that if didn't follow one guidance of God, even though our moral code is much the same on his teaching, we are already damned. No one can judge that, only the higher being can. Nice!
