Peace of mindA Poem by paul sal.....when I imaginged this poem I used newspapers instead of computers because computers weren't prevalent at the time.
I think....
If the choice is ever mine, I'll build a house of glass and tables of pine, carpets of grass and chairs of oak, a quiet place where we can share a joke. Showers of sunlight and mirrors of gold pictures of people who never grow old. Days filled with blue skies nights filled with stars, only our our best friends will know where we are. Hidden from radios , computers and wars, without reason to whisper or close our doors. A winding road will lead those who wish to find a simple house of glass built with peace of mind. © 2014 paul sal..... |
