Sign of peace

Sign of peace

A Story by paul sal.....

What would Christ do if he
        were here today?
Dictate a rewrite of his bible?
Ask us to learn from his death?
No, because he's tired of all
the hollow words and he's tired
        of all the death.
        He'd simply say;
" I am the sign of peace,
        read it, understand it,
live it, for all I really am
is love and life, and your
        salvation depends on you,not me".

A great write indicating the state of anarchy of the present time.
No one including the natural justice system will take responsibility of such anarchy.
Hence, your poem is a timely warning for all offenders.
They may change for their own sake.
Thanks for sharing.

Yes, our salvation depends oh us, on how we live this life. He is the way, he showed us how to be saved, but it depends on us if we will make it in the end.
Great piece!

What an intriguing writing. I felt immersed while reading it. Obvious disagreements as to the nature of the rhetorical question but that's neither here nor there as the message is absolutely a consequence of our times and that makes it more valuable than any form of analysis.

A treat to have read

Thankyou

Great poem, he may say all those things, when it comes to salvation, he may compromise as he was kind to thieves, so he may do same thing to us, the robbers, am I partially right at least, take care
