Silent Operator

Silent Operator

A Poem by IamDale
"

"I'm better of unnoticed"

"
Everyday as I go to school,
I always take the overpass.
Everyday, I see her; that middle-aged lady.
She was a street cleaner and a smiling one at that.

She  greeted me and everyone, a wonderful morning.
She had this aura of having a positive outlook in life.
She was a perfect 10 for me in accomplishing her job.
She never fails to inspire me to also be a ten in my studies.

As people would always say,"I need to be inspired",
"So that I could perform well".
And you're right, she was my energizer.
The energy in her face and the good intention she had.

She never did her job well   for herself alone.
She wanted everyone to not have a breakfast of leaves seasoned with dust.
She wanted everyone to feel the clean air.
She wanted everyone to have a great morning.

Heroes aren't those who always die for their country.
Heroes are those who perform without recognition.
Those who aren't assured of wealth nor luxury,
But those who silently make our days and lives better :)

That was a good poem and so true. I mean a real hero isn't someone who hose looking for glory but, those found by it. Just like the saying to give is to recieve the same applies for thoes who do good get goods and this can be anyone from a girl scout to skater. The one who dose the selfless deed is the one one who inspires them in other words . Well done and keep up with the excellent and yet own inspiring writing.

We have people like that everyday who always have a positive outcome on life and want others to see that rather than be optimistic about everything. When I think about this, I remember this old man in the corner who always stays there till four in the afternoon crossing children across the street. He's always having a good day. Sometimes we don't need luxury to be happy but rather live a life of happiness.

Fantastic...it was a well penned feast for my eyes to devour line by line. I have to say it was more than a treat, but I think you get the point. Hope you write more!
