first love

First Love

 

 

I couldn't believe it,

he had said the words,

and typed the words,

All I could do was sit there,

frozen,

like a statue in a snow storm,

my body grew numb,

what do I say?,

What do I do?,

Do I love him back?,

Is any of this true?

I could only think of one thing to do,

I walked.

I walked to him,

I stood in front of him,

I pulled him to me,

And I said,

"I love you too.''

This is your best piece I think.. I'm not totally sure why.. but It's probably cause you're writing from your heart.. It's honest.. pure.. I absolutely love your imagery.. frozen/statue/numb.. very good choice of words.. he caught you off guard and that paints that picture quite well.. most of us have been in that situation.. It's always good to get the reader thinking of a past memory of their own.. it put me into your poem.. Very good job! Keep writing this way!! and Thank you again for sharing! 100/100 but only cause I can't give you 150/100
