I wrote this for my girlfriend.

My heart jumped the first time I saw you

Sometimes I’d swear it hasn’t stopped since

They say true love is hard to find

I think we’d both agree

But to you, I write this song

Of our love in eternity

 

If our love’s not meant to last

I’d keep it all the same

Some days I have to wonder

Sometimes I don’t know if it’s real

But every time I doubt myself

I remember how you make me feel

 

Sometimes I feel we’re worlds apart

Sometimes we really are

But even in those darkest times

I know inside we’re meant to be

Even when I want to die

I hold our future inside of me
