The Sun Always Rises.

The Sun Always Rises.

A Poem by purpleman17

The lonely horizon enlivens the kid in me

reminds me of goals set to become whom I wish to be

history repeats itself so failure is an option

so must success be, how much does it cost then?

I thrive on my dreams so reality escapes me

but if I told you the truth would you love me or hate me?

life is split in halves so the future is uncertain

so the show must go on or become lost in the curtain

whether it be pain or happiness, time will proceed

there's always lessons in life left to learn that I'll need

I believe in the past and also happy endings

should I admit that I'm done trying or just keep on pretending?

Or should I just suck it up chin up and keep marching ?

if my ride's not yet over then what's the point in parking?
