Designed UnderstandingA Poem by PureAbstrakt
Designed Understanding In his unaccountable love for them, He made it a tad too easy: He gave them words… This way, unlike him, who did not need them, They never had to experience silence And the infinite weight it could imply.
In his endless love for them, He showed them the way: He mapped their worlds with limits To stop their pointless flutter... This way, unlike him, they always had the choice To find their way home.
In his dazzling love for them, He made their nights easy to bear: He gave them dreams and the freedom To follow them... This way, unlike for him, time was more than just Continuous blinding luminescence.
In his holly love for them, So their flesh had weight and substance, He purposely planted the illusion of sin In their hungry minds... This way, unlike him, who had limitless faces, They could only be two sided, at the most.
In his unconditional love for them, Because there could be nothing to repay him with, He gave them reason and the ability to bargain. This way, unlike him, who always had to be right, They had the freedom to doubt Even the obvious...
He made them unlike him And never regretted it for a tiny second, So that, through them, He could experience all that- Above flesh and feelings- He had no way To otherwise ever understand... © 2008 PureAbstrakt |
