Ballerina

Ballerina

Ballerina

As I stood there,

In the palm of your hand,

Holding my breath,

Tip-toe- like a ballerina,

Dancing the dance of silence,

Thinking thoughts meant to be forgotten,

Your eyes pinned me down for a second-

I had almost come to the point of suffocating from keeping my breath still...

And under your open eyes, my arms lifted

Pulled by an invisible string

And my soul followed them

...Lifting...useless and light

Just like a feather...
