It’s just that type of magical

That image you can’t place.

A sound you heard once.

The subtle look on a painting’s face.

 

It’s that sense of wonder

In why hot and cold are alike.

A moment you can’t put your finger on

That made you feel alive.

In a pink night sky,

With two teal moons

An illuminating light.

 

A shooting star

From the corner of your eyes

That you’d follow anywhere

For the time of your life.

Tell me what you see

When you close your eyes?

Do you look into mine?

Or eat a piece of moon

 

And say to your pillow “hi?”

Or see a bright white light

With an empty face

Where you paint your masterpiece of…
