Hold It In, Darling

Hold It In, Darling

A Poem by Breanna Ragland

All this pain...
I cannot keep.
I'm holding it in...
I'm burying it deep.
I'm finding new ways,
To escape this hell.
But it's trial and error,
Pass and fail.
I'm never good enough...
The pressures just too much.
I'm running out of options...
I'm running out of luck.
I'll hold the pain in...
But for how long, I don't know.
I'll try and suffer through,
While you enjoy your sick little show.
I had all this pain...
That I could not keep...
So I made up my mind...
And I took the leap...
