Cheated

Cheated

A Poem by Breanna Ragland

It was love at first sight
But that thin crack grew
It grew and grew until it split
Split the two of you
Now she has satisfaction
And he's left heartbroken
Nothing more to do but stand back
And watch.
But I can help.
I realize that I can do good
That's what he needs right?
So I'll make her pay.
As she rots in hell for what she did
You'll have the satisfaction as she
Cries out and begs to you.
"Save me from my hell and
I'll fix yours... Just save me!"
And you'll remind her of how she cheated you
Out at the best life to live.
She left you there
Bloody and broken... To die
And rot. She left
You to yourself... Left you to fixing yourself.
She rubbed dirt in you wounds and spit on
Your name as she drug you
Through the mud.
But I won't let it happen again. Not this time...
Not ever.
You'll never be cheated on again...

Hatred isn't pretty, it isn't exciting. Hatred is choppy, simple, and destructive. Your hatred for what has been done, and for her is very vibrant, straightforward and right there in your face. As it should be, cheaters are scum.

Matthew

even without cheating, this is what bad breakups feel like. You had a few distracting spelling errors, but not too bad at all. I like it.
