The Petals Fall

The Petals Fall

A Poem by Breanna Ragland

The Petals Fall
like drips of blood
My heart beats
My wounds bleeds

I'm black and blue
and Id kill for you
I cant stand to loose you...

Tell me why
I have to cry
when you'll never be mine
so why...over you, do I cry?

Help me feel
or the numb will consume my soul
Make my felling repel
and steal my bodily control

Let the demons take hold
rule over like the own me
Leave my true story untold
when can I become free?

So, as these petals fall,
My old soul speaks,
My heart beats,
and
My wounds bleed...,
Will you help me find me?
