Make it endA Poem by Breanna RaglandThis poem was originally written by me but given to a friend.
Blood splatters across these wall
My demons chase me down these halls I shout to you with hopes of reply
I spot your dead body and start to cry How will I make it In this world all alone left to figure out how to make this place home I resort to the only thing left in this life I grab the knife and start to write Across my arm the blood runs down With dried tears, I make no sound They haul me away to this place of dismay Expect me to speak Treat me like im weak They think me meek I'm stronger than they think I write my story Across these walls Down these stain-glass tinted walls Plenty of voices scream their calls Asking why their in this place When they know all too well the devils who they face Regardless why im here I'm still a prisoner who lives in fear I write on my walls one last time For tonight my sin will be no crime These blood drenched walls This godforsaken hall The knife in my hand Is now my best friend Destroyed by the pain Drenched in this rain I let it all go I sit all alone I whisper my last words As i draw it all in I clutch my friend close And make it all end © 2010 Breanna RaglandAuthor's Note
