chapter 3 - nameless

A Chapter by puppylover13437

The guy, my fiancée shoved me forward. His dad had set us up a date. Jaxson seemed pleased, but I was terrified. I wanted Marx to come with, Jaxson wouldn't dare try to hit me if he was around. Jaxson opened the door and yanked me forward, I stumbled on my heels, before I could fall he wrapped his arms around my stomach. It felt wrong, sick in a way.

"You realize you'll have to do anything I want you to, or you will be hurt right?" He whispers in my ear, in a seductive voice. I shivered, and tried to pull away.

"I can't, it's wrong." I say hoping it didn't come out in a panicked tone. I tried to yank away, but he pulled me closer too him. I gave up not wanting him to hit me. Jaxson nuzzled my neck. That was it this was harassment, I lunged forward, and literally fell out, more like away from his arms."You shouldn't have done that!" he growled, pulling me up from the ground.

Jaxson raised his and brought it down onto my face. A stinging pain burned across my cheek, my head jerking from the impact. I brought my hand to my cheek, but refused to let tears fall. I noticed the curtains sway, as if someone had been watching, and ducked away. Jaxon grabbed my wrist and pulled me.

"Screw the date" He mumbled, pulling me back towards the house. I Felt his fingers dig painfully into my wrist, i refrained from making a noise. He shoved open the door and pushed me in. I tripped over the damn heels and almost fell. Someone caught me." Marx help her pack she's moving in with us today, she needs to learn to behave."

The person had adjusted their grip on me, and very gently pulled me forward by my wrist. Marx. My arm tingled under his touch, I tripped over my heels almost every step and it obviously was irritating me. Marx looked at me with piercing blue eyes, and wrapped an arm around my waist to help me walk.

"Be carful Emmagene," He said, pushing open my door and pulling me carefully into my room," Go get you suitcase.," He said opening my closet, and pulling out some of my jackets and sweaters.

I pulled my suitcase out from under my bed. Marx put the clothing items into it. As I grabbed an assortment of item a thought went through my head. Does Marx usually let Jaxson tell him what to do.

"Do you usually let Jaxson boss you around?" I ask glancing around for any more essentials.

"What do you mean?" Marx responded, looking at me. I pushed hair out of my face and looked down.

"You came in here, and helped me pack without saying a thing to him."

"I did that because I wanted to show you someone cares, no one else obviously does," He said looking at me, yet again with his blue eyes," as much as I hate what your going through, it would probably be best if you listen to Jaxson for now. Your like his ne toy for now, he wants to see how easily he can break you. If he can he'll throw you out on your own. So it would probably be best to listen to him for now." Marx glances at my cheek, and for the first time I notice the dull pain spread across my cheek.

I walked calmly to my bathroom, and glanced calmly into the mirror. My cheek was a dark red, it would probably go away soon I don't think it will leave a bruise. Marx silently walked in glancing at my reflection sadly. His eyes scanned my face, and locked with my hazel eyes. Marx's filled with an emotion, like rage mixed with something else.

"He hit you didn't he" Marx said, his voice hard. I messed with my dull brown hair, and avoided the question. He moved forward, and whispered," please tell me."

" No I-I fell" I said in a pathetic lie. His eyes softened, but didn't believe me. Why did he even care. I was bought for his brother.

"Emmagene get out here, now!" Jaxson yelled from the living room. I flinched, Marx caught it by the expression on his face.

"I hope we can become great friends." I tell him, and scurry out and to Jaxson who looked irritated.

"Where's your suitcase?" He asked, giving me a glare.

"It is right here Jax, I told her I would get it." Marx comes in carrying my suitcase. I'm pretty sure he just saved my face.

"Say goodbye to your father, we're leaving." Jax says, pushing his way to stand in the way of the front door.

"I hope you are happy to have money DAD," I say to my father rudely," Now YOU can buy the wife you've always wanted." I steam. Moving slowly in these heels I leave the room, and leave my dad speechless.

Jaxson grabs my hand in a romantic gesture, I flinch and he sends a glare in my direction. Their car sat peacefully in the driveway. Marx and their father were already in the car. Jax shoved me into the back next to Marx, who grabs me before I can smack into one of those buckle slots. I flash him a look of thanks and he grins. Jax takes shot gun right next to his father, who starts the car. The Song, Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift starts playing, which just happens to be my favorite song. I hum it, not wanting anyone to hear me sing. Marx looks at me with a weird expression.

"Turn it up Jax." Marx says glancing at me.

"You aren't going soft on me are you?" Jaxson asks turning around to face Marx.

"No I just feel that any music should be louder than this."

Jaxson shrugs, and turns up the music without further explanation. I smile at Marx, who only looks ahead with a smirk on his face. I sing along quietly to the lyrics, hoping no one could hear me. Marx obviously could, he had a weird expression on his face. It was a mixture of what seemed like sadness, and adoration. I fiddled with my fingers, as the song came to a close. Marx and Jaxson's dad pulled into the driveway of a pretty big house.

"Come on Emmagene," Marx said reaching across, and opening the door for me. It seemed like such a normal gesture, but it still caused my heart to quicken," Jax might get mad." He jumps out of his side, and disappears to the back of the car. I carefully step out. Jaxson comes forward, and wraps a arm around my waist. I shivered and tried to pull away.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" Jaxson says in a cruel voice, I stopped and stood there feeling sick to my stomach.

Marx walks up from behind the car carrying my suitcases and things. I rush forward catching Jaxson by surprise as I slip from his arms. Marx looks at me with a worried expression before calmly handing me a suitcase.

Hey I was wondering if I should describe what the house looks like, or if I should just describe rooms she walks into.
