This shows the best and worst side of human nature. The survival instinct where we will do anything to just keep moving forward, and the side of us that picks up the pieces and soldiers on. This is moving on so many different depths. I can envision this unreciprocated love you're describing and it makes me feel a connection with the girl. Your poems, whether I consider them good or bad, have managed to make me do this. You are a truly powerful writer, even in your weak moments.
It also shows the true nature of the human heart, that no matter what we always remember that love of ours. They can hurt us to where we feel like hiding ourselves in some corner of the world, but the memories and the feelings always remain. Well done, bravo!
Well worth the read and a review. That sums up love/hate relationships to me. Wanting the other to feel a bit of pain. To feel what you are experiencing.

Sometimes. Not every time, But every once in a while, you give in, take a sec, but sometimes. Enjoyed the flow, the feeling, and especially the ambiguity. Some poems work better when the reader gets to fill in the details. This is one of those.
sometimes me and my mother would argue over the evil things my little brother did and i would sit there and listen to her yell at me before i rushed to the restroom to cry while writing a hateful poem. this poem right here brought back so many tearful memories, but it was still good because it touched my heart.
insightful expression to your perceptions
i like the flow to it
i enjoyed that it wasn't definite
with the sometimes
it shows an inner balancing of emotions
