Cancer: Letter to a disease

Cancer: Letter to a disease

A Poem by Kayleen

Why would you take a girl who was nice, was good and was sweet?

Why choose someone like her to defeat?

Why her and not me?

i dont understand

why you've taken a mother

from her child's young hand

we miss her so much

why couldn't you see?

we needed her here

especially me.

So beautifully written and a tragic story.
Cancer is an awful and disgusting disease. I think there are few people who can honestly say that their life hasn't been affected by it in some way.
