SaluteA Poem by KayleenOde to President Bush (written in 8th grade)
I’d like to thank America
For the conspiracy
The controversy
The corrupted corporations
The corroding morals of Americas kids
The created reasons For chaotic wars
And the incompetent president trying to follow daddy’s footprint
Its insane that in exchange
For the lives of a bunch of little boys
Barely old enough to live without their mama
We got Hussein
We got a bunch of high school kids
Risking their lives out there searching for Osama
Which would be justified
But we don’t know if he lived or If he died
It eats me up inside when governments hide
Things from their people
Its evil
When they put lives on the line
And It seems to me that our country
Is like a ball of twine
Unraveling all the time
And it hurts me
Cause its so easy to see
That we shouldn’t be
In that country
It amazes me
That people could be that deaf blind and dumb
Hey Mr. president
How about taking your thumb
Out of your a*s and step on the gas
Get us out of the mess you created
Im so aggravated
We’ve met our wits end
So God bless America
And the f*****g mess you put us in
