Angels' Envy

Angels' Envy

A Poem by Kayleen
"

from way back in 7th grade

"

And may angels all envy us for the power of our love

We cry form the streets as thet scream from above

And might demons all wonder at the rage in our hearts

The anger we bring is only the start

Prices for power unable to tame

Killing ourselves so they taste the fame

Laced with the sins of our fathers before

You’ve given us reason, now we wage the war

I like this one very much.
A sort of battle cry for Humanity; it's very epic in subject.
Usually I might suggest lengthening it, but I like yours how it is.
It's just long enough. ^-^
Great write.
I look forward to reading more.
