Ode To Torgau

Torgau is a City in Germany I lived in for three weeks over the summer of 2009

6 hour flight, of course, comes with
staying awake, smelly people, bad food, impatience.
Landing in next airport only means more waiting for
another flight that takes another uncomfortable hour.

But once waiting and impatience have passed us by,
All we see now is clean, beautiful, Torgau Germany.
But not just Torgau, but Beilrode, Domizch, Einborg,
and Dresden. Berlin, Potsdam, Weimar, and Leipzig.
Meissen, and Spreewald, and Sitzenroda too. Plus
many more places we all have not seen.

And soon we mus leave; such a pity I may say.
For Germany is like a new world, something unique.
We will miss the amazing food, ice cream, and drinks.
We will also miss the friends we have made, and the experiences
we have shared.

And now I say, Goodbye to you all, clean, beautiful,
and amazing people. Our chapter has ended, and a new one has
Begun.
