Forgetting you.

Forgetting you.

A Poem by Monochrome Crayon.

You cannot imagine the way,
My heart breaks each day,
I'll try and forget you,
To make me smile again,
Maybe just once,
I gave my love away for free,
Can't you see, that you broke my heart,
Now I have to carry the pieces around,
I'll never find someone better than you,
Even if I lived forever,
I lost the game,
And you lost me,
Because you'll stay the same,
but that's how it should be,
I'll forget you,
To make me cry,
I won't pull out a memory of your manufactured love,
I paid the price,
And took a chance,
And lost..

Love always seems to end this way. Falling for the wrong person and then wondering what happened even though the hints were all around you. Never appologize for thinking that you could have written a bad write. This piece is anything but suckish. Thank you for allowing us to read this!
