The Man Outside

A Poem by Pumpkin Girl
"

This poem is about a guy with a fear of people leaving him so he kidnaps a young child who thinks that the guy his her father.

"

pitter-patter

Papa, there's a man outside

lock the doors sweetie

bang bang bang

Papa, I'm scared

run and hide sweetie

thump thump thump

im not letting you in

bang bang bang

Open this door!

crack crack shatter

Papa, I'm bleeding

I told you to hide sweetie

Papa, It's getting hard to breathe

Give me back my daughter!

Papa, I'm scared

Papa, Why do you have a knife?

go and hide sweetie

Papa, Who is this man?

I told you to hide sweetie

thunk slam

Papa, Why did you do it?

Because I need you, sweetie

Papa, I'm scared
