Television

Television

A Poem by Samuel Dickens
"

Brain-drainer

"

Bordain cussing, inbreeds fussing

Bieber sports new "do"

Ice road truckers, pawnshop suckers

Lohan lost her shoe

Retarded shows for peanut brains

Keep us nice and dumb

Think I’ll stand out in the rain

And gnaw off both my thumbs

so do i, and they are replacing all the good kind of shows with reality tv series...and Inside Edition which tells us everything we really didn't want to know about our entertainers...all i care about is that they entertain us.

cable is very expensive for what we get...only a handful of good shows anymore.

i grew up in the 50's and 60's...all the classic tv...where has it gone?

i really like the phrasing in this piece...

glad i found it.

Like the poem Sam and are in sympatico with you. Reality TV is for people who don't have real lives and and like to watch people that are actually lamer the themselves.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. Yes, TV programing is in a pretty terrible state.
Lol. I love it! I feel the same way. TV sucks nowadays.

Love it!!!! So true, so well put. Sometimes being in the rain gnawing at your thumbs is still better than whats on the television!

love this! Its the vision of gnawing off thumbs...but then your writing would be hindered somewhat.

Totally in agreeement even though I own and watch one

Sam, not even OCC? But you gotta love Mikie!??! Or Razorback Football?
Seriously, this is an excellent write on a common reason most people will never read anything... we ever write. They forgot that reading can be fun... and thought provoking.
Great read, sir.
