A Poem by Pule Leeuw

Unknown (No Title):

It was on the floor, that piece of paper not 3 months ago deemed the Testament to their Testimony;

It is nowhere near important now, it is no more than the nasty things people scrape from the bottom of their shoes now.

Once upon a time it was the very thing that started a war and ended a war;

Wrapped in a ribbon that made people admire the hands that made it, and imagine the message within before they even read it.

It was signed which meant it official, the signatures unknowingly drew the battle lines and made it official.

They came from all the corners of the world to witness and honor this pact, it belonged to them as much as those who signed it.

This is no word of mouth, this is no hear say, this is the very thing that used to be signed in blood!

It's a promise of something far greater than the words;

I DO promise you it is far important than the ink that brings it to light, to life!

It brought beauty as beautiful as the imagination of a child, The contents are known now...

The testament to their testimony is on the floor now, used to be priceless but worthless now!
